Remove cap and turn dial towards “O” to adjust product flow. Gently shake brush downwards until you see powder appear on the brush. Swirl over face and neck areas in a circular motion until desired coverage is achieved. Return the dial to the “C” after application to close.

How do I clean the brushes between demonstrating the products?
There are a couple of options you can use to ensure cleanliness when demonstrating your Pure Perfecting Powder or Pure Perfecting Protection products on others. First, to clean the retractable bush that the product is housed in, prepare the brush to be cleaned by closing the product flow control dial (turn all the way to “C”). You can then use a spray bottle with a cleaning solution (alcohol or brush cleaner) or an alcohol pad to disinfect the brush. After applying the disinfectant, wipe the brush gentle on a clean towel and allow it to dry completely before the next use. Please note — to ensure that moisture does not enter the powder container and cause clumping, avoid saturating the brush completely, and make sure that the product control dial is turned to the “C” position before cleaning. If you would like to use different brushes for each demonstration, you can also remove the powder from the retractable brush component in which it is housed. On the clear, plastic end cap portion of the brush, you will find a label with a safety sea that extends up the main body of the brush. This safety seal is in place to prevent the end cap from unscrewing and spilling powder when being transported. Simply remove the safety seal portion of the label (leaving the main portion on the bottom, so that you know which shade you are using), and unscrew the end cap to access the powder inside. Be sure to close the product flow control dial completely and point the brush portion down to avoid spilling product when unscrewing the end cap. Tap some product onto a clean, non-absorbent surface, and apply with whichever brush you prefer!
Is it normal to receive my Pure Perfecting Powder or Pure Perfecting Protection with powder on the brush?
More often than not, there will already be a small amount of powder on the Pure Perfecting Powder and Pure Perfecting Protection brushes. During manufacturing, the powder is filled into the retractable brush component through the portion with the clear end cap. At this time, the brush portion of the component is facing down, and the force used to insert the powder commonly causes a small amount of powder to be released onto the brush. A small amount on the brush is not indicative of a flaw in the components or the product received.
I use a mattifying powder to help cover redness in my skin. Does anything in the Nothing To Hide product line help with redness?
The Nothing To Hide pure perfecting products all contain innovative pigments that are known to help even skin tone and texture. These pigments were chosen for their ability to fluoresce light in a desirable range (green and blue light), helping create a soft glow and correct color imperfections in the same way that a mattifying powder does. A unique characteristic of these pigments, however, is that they are transparent rather than opaque; this means that they can help restore natural luminosity to skin, rather than simply covering it with a mask-like layer. We highly recommend testing the products to find a combination that works to create perfect coverage for you!
How can I use the product flow control dial to help get perfect results without using too much powder?
The Pure Perfecting Powder and Pure Perfecting Protection products are very finely ground, highly concentrated powders designed to provide sheer, perfecting coverage to the skin on your face and neck. Because the products are so concentrated, a little bit goes a really long way. The total amount of coverage you receive can be controlled using the product control flow dial on the retractable brush component. Opening this flow dial all the way may allow more product to flow through than is actually necessary to achieve your desired level of coverage. We have two recommendations for controlling the product flow to conserve product while still achieving your desired results. First, you can open the product control flow dial completely, tap a small amount of product onto the brush, and then close the product flow control dial before applying the product. This allows you to saturate the brush and the apply an even coat of product by swirling it over the face in neck in a circular motion. The other suggestion is to only open the product control flow dial 2 – 5 clicks, to allow a small amount of product to flow consistently during application. Both application methods are effective, and we encourage you to test out different methods to find your personal preference.
